Settlers and new villages
Three settlers, a free expansion slot, and enough culture points. That founds a village. Conquest is the other door, and it is a different page.

One Palace per account. Residence and Palace cannot share a village. Settlers and chiefs cannot be trained in the same queue — the game blocks it so you cannot spend one slot twice.
Culture points
The slow table is live. Village 2 is 2,000 CP. See the table and the planner.
Where to settle
The map is 25×25. Croppers matter more than a pretty 7×7. Use the crop finder if you have Gold Club. Do not settle next to someone who already said they want that tile — you will spend the rest of the round defending it in 30-minute slices.
